Feedback is a unique insight into the life and music of Jimi Hendrix.
In this programme we seek to explore what made the guitar playing genius so different from other musicians. The DVD is an expose of a sometimes tormented life told through music; featuring live performances of his hit singles 'Hey Joe' and 'All Along The Watchtower'; rare footage of his private life and film footage from the cult Hendrix movie Rainbow Bridge.
The programme also contains revealing exclusive interviews with his first manager Ed Chalpin, Rolling Stones publicist Tony Caulder (who wanted to sign him), Geno Washington and Hendrix's lover, and actress, Melinda Merryweather, plus a whole host of contemporaries who were close to him. It tracks his life from cradle to grave; from his introduction to the London music scene by his new manager, Animals bassist, Chas Chandler, to the premonition of his death.
Also contained is an Audio CD with rare Hendrix interviews and a 32 page full colour booklet featuring many remarkable photographs that help illustrate and detail Hendrix's life and times making Feedback one of the most informative, compelling and complete programmes ever compiled about this icon of rock music; a talent that to this day ranks amongst the top exponents of the electric guitar.
